Registration
Lesson slots are filled based on upon the rider’s suitability for a particular class. We will group lessons according to age, riding skills and availability of horses. Lessons are scheduled Monday through Thursday and last one hour fifteen minutes (includes approximately 15 minutes to groom and tack horses, approximately 50 minutes of riding time and approximately 10 minutes of untacking and follow-up).
Session Fees
Session fees for 2012 are:
$125.00 for 5 weeks.
$150.00 for 6 weeks.
$175.00 for 7 weeks.
All fees must be paid in full at first lesson and are non-refundable.
2012 Session Dates
- SESSION 1: February 27th - March 26th (5 weeks) (Registration due: February 13th)
- SESSION 2: April 9th - May 21st (7 weeks) (Registration due: March 26th)
- SESSION 3: May 28th - July 9th (7 weeks) (Registration due: May 14th)
- SESSION 4: August 6th - September 10th (6 weeks) (Registration due: July 23rd)
- SESSION 5: September 17th - October 22nd (6 weeks) (Registration due: September 3rd)
- SESSION 6: October 29th - December 3rd (6 weeks) (Registration due: October 15th)
Requirements
- Minimum age is 4 years old (evaluated by an instructor).
- Weight limit of rider not to exceed 200lbs.
- Hard-soled boots with a drop down heel are preferred. Absolutely NO sandals.
- Long pants (preferably jeans). Absolutely NO shorts.
- Layered clothing (so you can adjust to weather conditions). No spaghetti strap tank tops or bare mid-drifts.
- Riders must wear an ASTM-SEI approved helmet at all times while mounted. Liberty Riders Inc. has helmets available, but it is recommended that you purchase your own.
Registration
A rider registration packet must be completed in order to process your participation in our therapeutic horseback riding program. Forms must be completed and returned to us at least 2 weeks prior to a session.
Please note: Registration works as an application process. Submit your forms to Liberty Riders to be considered for an upcoming session. Submitting your registration packet does not guarantee a spot in the program. All sessions are limited enrollment.
