What’s Happening in 2010

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! Here at the farm, we are busy getting ready for our 2010 events.

Our 2010 Liberty Riders, Inc. Lesson schedule is as follows:

• SESSION 1: April 12th – May 17th (Registration due: March 29th)

• SESSION 2: May 24th – June 28th (Registration due: May 10th)
CLOSED
• SESSION 3: August 9th – September 13th (Registration due: July 26th)

• SESSION 4: September 20th – October 25th (Registration due: September 6th)

• SESSION 5: November 1st – December 6th (Registration due: October 18th)

We also have 4 major fundraising events we are working on at this time.

• April, 24, 2010 – The 3rd Annual Silent Auction and Wine Tasting Event
• August 3rd & 4th 2010 – A 2-day Bus Trip to Shipshewana, Indiana
• Fall 2010 – 2nd Annual Golf Outing at Selfridge Air Force Base (Date TBA)
• Fall 2010 – Fall Farm Event at Rattle Run Farms (Event TBA)

If you are willing to help serve on any of our committees listed above, please contact us soon as possible. We are in need of additional committee members.

We are currently preparing for our Silent Auction and Wine Tasting Event. This fundraiser is our primary source of revenue for this program. We are contacting businesses for auction item donations.  If you or someone you know would like to support us, please let us know.  Our first committee meeting is set for Feb 1, 2010.

We would like to take this time to thank everyone who supported us in 2009.  The success of this program is depended on the support we receive from our students and their families, our friends and the community. We strongly encourage our families participating in our program to find some time to help us this year.

Golf Outing Successful Fundraiser

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came out and participated in our 1st Golf Outing Fundraiser. It was a beautiful day and everyone enjoyed themselves at S.A.N.G. Golf Course.  We are very pleased at the support we received from our community and friends.  A BIG thank you goes out to Dan McCarthy and his lovely family for taking time out to launch this successful fundraiser for our program.  Everyone did a fantastic job.  We would also like to thank Tim McCarthy for the wonderful food he whipped up in the kitchen for us.
